How do I turn off the music in Aveyond?

You go to options and press the spacebar at the TURN MUSIC ON OR OF option. The options menu is in the main menu. |

In the "Options" menu you'll discover an "Audio" option... as it's an RPG, I'd not want to give it away any more than to give you that hint ;) |
